Hacking the Xbox – epub version

After finishing Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother, I was going through the “suggested reading” section at the back of the book. A title called “Hacking the Xbox – An introduction to reverse engineering” caught my eye, and I decided to see if there was an ebook available. Sure enough, the book had been released by the author, Andrew “bunnie” Huang, and the publisher, No Starch Press, for free as a pdf file.

Unfortunately, my Kobo doesn’t render the pdf all that well. To rectify the situation, I tried to convert the pdf to epub using Calibre. Something did come through the conversion, but nothing readable.

Since I really did want to read the book, I proceeded to manually edit the file to fix the formatting problems of the automatically generated version. After a couple of days of work, here are the results. Enjoy:

The manual editing process has most likely introduced typos and other errors in the epub-version. If you find one, please leave a comment.
